Extended writing must be more elaboration and more example.
Below are the writing process.
1. pre-writing - use some technique
1. brainstorming - brainstorm for ideas,
points, & how to organised a piece
of writing
2. mind-mapping - generate & classify
ideas to organize information for
making decision and writing
3. free writing - prewriting technique
for a set period of time without
regard to spelling, grammar or topic
4. quick writing - involved creative &
critical thinking
2. planning & organizing - essay outline to write a clear,
well-focused piece of with sensible ideas
& meaningful.
3. drafting - the process of writing down ideas,
organizing them into a sequence, and
providing the reader with
a frame for understanding these ideas.
4. revising & editing - check the essay
5. conclusion - final essay.
Extended writing must have opening sentences and thesis statement in introduction. Then, use controlling idea ( topic sentences ) that follow by supporting detail & example in every body paragraph. Lastly, conclusion must have the reaffirm thesis statement & summary of main points. It is also should have a conclusion in every paragraph.
